I love I-witness documentaries...

Just a while ago, Howie Severino documented "three teens from public schools, all headed for college at UP Diliman. These youngsters carry the weight of their families and communities' expectations as well as their branding as part of UP's centennial batch."

It included their first experiences as 'centennial iskolar ng bayan.'

looking for a gift for one of my girl friends took me to a bookstore to browse on some children's books...

yup. believe it or not, im so engrossed with children's books. blame it on my childhood issues (thanks to my roommate for the label), i dont have any memory at hand of any children's book bought for me. so now, im taking my time to invest on children's books that entices my very young heart.

in fact, i even purchased two second hand children's books from our school's bazaar just this friday.

anyway, bout the book...

since i am a frustated scientist (another childhood issue), i enjoyed reading ong's book. a book full of questions that only time can answer. not to mention the very Christian approach of opening a child's heart to aspire for the said profession. twas also amazing to find the colorful and brilliant illustations of harvey ong (the book's artist). hey! not bad for a first timer.

two thumbs up for both of the writer and illustrator and another set of thumbs up for the publisher for starting another series of books about ambitions.

With its wide screen, XP Home Ed is perfect for this one. Crystal clear resolution and wala na akong masabi... (please excuse me for not being a techno buff). As long as I can use it in making my exams and uploading nonsensestuff in the net (e.g. what your reading right now), not to mention downloading my fave songs. Im contended with those already. Err, see how shallow am i?
